(**) - In some countries and locations in Africa, due to logistical and supply problems, deliveries may only be possible 48 hours after confirmation of your payment. Check with our operators if you have any doubts.
Important comments:
1) Only after payment has been confirmed(click here to find out about payment methods), does Floraweb start the delivery procedures. In the case of payment by credit card, this approval takes place in real time. If you pay by boleto bancário, it can take up to 3 working days for the bank to inform Floraweb that the payment has been made. In the case of deposits and/or transfers (ATM deposits can also take up to 3 working days to confirm), the receipt must be sent to Floraweb via e-mail to pagamentos@floraweb.com.br.
2) Deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and local holidays are subject to confirmation in the region of destination. Deliveries on working days are made during business hours, between 08:00 and 19:00. It is not possible to agree specific delivery times, as these depend on external factors beyond our control.
3) Deliveries to hotels, lodgings, etc. are made during business hours, in the morning (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) or afternoon (1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), from Monday to Saturday. It is necessary to inform the name of the person making the reservation and the names of possible companions. Floraweb does not have access to hotel rooms, so the flowers will be left at reception to be delivered to the recipient. From the moment the flowers are left at the hotel reception, the responsibility passes to the hotel, exempting Floraweb from compensation for non-delivery in the event of a mismatch.
4) On special dates, such as Christmas, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day, confirmation is required 1 day in advance for orders to Brazil and 2 days in advance for orders abroad, in addition to the normal deadlines in the table above.
5) Shipping is free on orders over R$ 350.00 and a flat-rate delivery fee is charged on orders under this amount. In addition, we offer a free message for you to send to the recipient with up to 175 characters.
6) When sending flowers anywhere in the world, we reserve the right to replace the product with a product of equal or greater value than the one purchased, in the event that the product requested is not available on the scheduled delivery date.
Please understand that substitutions are necessary to ensure the timely delivery of each order.
Please also note that all product images are studio images, so the actual product may be delivered differently from the photo (with changes occurring according to availability, seasonality/climate or even local habits), but the total value of the product delivered will be equal to or greater than the value of the purchase made.
In short, the quantity or quality will remain the same as the value purchased, but the packaging and colors may vary, but we will strive to maintain the chosen color.
For example, when your order is forwarded to one of our local florists, we are often faced with a situation where, for example, you have bought lilies to be delivered on X date and the local florist in the recipient's area does not have lilies for the delivery date, and the flowers are to congratulate an anniversary.
So, "Should we reschedule the order for delivery on date Y?"
Or "Should we replace the lilies with other flowers of equal value and have them delivered on date X?"
We always prefer the latter so that the birthday person receives the flowers on their birthday.
We are not always able to get in touch with our customer who has made the purchase, and a delay in getting an answer can lead to the order not being delivered on a specified date.
7) We will not cancel and/or refund the amount paid in the event of:
- The address provided by you is incomplete or inaccurate;
- The recipient is not available at the time of delivery and/or there is no one able to receive the flowers or baskets at the place of delivery;
- If the recipient is not at the address specified, the flowers or baskets are left with a neighbor, doorman, door of the address provided or similar at the place of delivery;
- The recipient refuses to accept the flowers or baskets.
8) Deliveries of flower arrangements or funeral wreaths abroad are also complex and delicate, due to the time of great sadness in the family.
The delivery of these items usually takes place at funeral homes, churches, temples, mosques, synagogues, cremation homes or cemeteries.
In these places, funeral flowers can be mixed with other flowers, and messages from the card are sometimes lost.
FloraWeb is responsible for delivering to the address of the funeral location, as specified in the order.
After that, unfortunately we can no longer guarantee the destination of the flowers for the funeral, with our service ending at the time of delivery to the indicated location.
9) Procedure if the recipient is not at the address given in the order when the flowers and baskets are delivered: in general, our florists try to contact the recipient before the flowers are delivered, using a local telephone number, as long as this local number has been provided by the sender in the order. In the event that the recipient of the flowers is not present at the time of delivery, we would like to point out that it is a very common practice among florists in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania to leave the product at the doorstep of the person receiving the flowers or basket.
